Chelsea have signed 49 players in the last 4 years. Apparently that's the same amount of players we have signed in the last 10 years and we had arguably a much weaker squad then.

Just read this comment on the ManU site and choked on my drink:

I don't really care about the euros. However if pushed I'd prob support Spain. Not just because I prefer their style of play but can you imagine how Piers Morgan will react if England win.

one of my not so guilty pleasures in life is watching old videos of Zidane in full flight with French commentators. When i'm not marvelling at the skill, i'm in hysterics at the "ooh la la" and "bop bop bop" in the background. The french are way better at commenting than the average british pundit.

Checking out the latest training footage and Wirtz is seriously looking special. His link up play is already looking next level. Can't wait to see what he's like once he's built some understanding with the other players.

I was going to post earlier but decided might be wise to collect my thoughts first rather than fire off a post i might regret. But having had a number of second looks at that "clearance" by Tarkowski - my goodness. Thought i was watching Vinnie Jones saying hello to Cantona once more. Might have got the ball but I have no idea what Tierney (I think he was on VAR) was thinking not getting Barrott to have a second look at that.

As I understand it, the transfer fee when LFC buys, is spread out over the term of the contract. However when they sell, the fee is included in that seasons figures.
