Sorry but fans are entitled to their opinions on players. At the end of the day, they pay good money to see them perform so when a player who cost £85million has shown no improvement in the 2 seasons he’s been here, some fans are going to get vexed. I mean how many clear cut chances has he missed? How many times has he hit the woodwork? How many times has he been caught offside? Yes he puts a shift in, yes he is passionate but we bought him to score goals, not miss them. If he has scored even half the chances that have been created for him, we’d probably have won the league this season! I don’t with abusing a player and making it personal but I can understand why some fans are peed off with him. I actually think we should sell him this summer as I just think he isn’t good enough and can’t see him improving enough to be a goalscorer like Torres or Suarez.

I'm sure most of you are aware of the football streamer mark goldbridge

He did a video recently calling out man city and how they're ruining English football etc well it turns out he's been sent a cease and desist order by the club basically telling him if he does it again they will be suing him for slander

1. Who do they think they are?

2. If city are threatening to sue a man who makes YouTube videos it makes you think who else have they been intimidating? Cease and desist orders to pgmol? Pundits?

Cancer of a club and they are destroying the English game.

Much better yesterday. 3 key things for me that changed our fortunes.

1) Trent back playing as an actual right back and holding the width.

2) Going back to the midfield that saw us playing our best football this season (Endo, Macca and Elliott) . If only we'd done it sooner instead of persisting with Jones and Szoboszlai who've just looked miles off it since coming back from injury.

3) Gakpo and Diaz interchanging throughout the game, so Gakpo was on the ball more in his preferred wider role and as a result looked arguably the best player on the pitch (along with Elliott) .

Went a bit to pot after the substitutions disrupted our flow but we'd already done the damage so it ultimately didn't matter. It's almost certainly too little too late this season (barring a quite spectacular implosion from both Arsenal and City) but hopefully we can end on something of a high by carrying this performance into the final 2 games.

Beggars belief that now the title has seemingly gone we've reverted back to playing Trent as a more traditional fullback.

It worked very well today, attacking wise it meant Salah could get in the game. More width too from Trent and meant there was always a switch on to the opposite wing (or fullback) .

After the subs we lost our way a bit. But a lot of it came from inverting Trent leaving the right flank horribly exposed. That being said both goals conceded was horrible play and very poor defending but the switch of personnel and tactics allowed Spurs a way back into the game. Not too concerned, this Spurs team have shown they can fight - they did against Arsenal.

Game management is something this team needs to get better at. I thought the midfield also had a tough time, as good as Endo has been for me, I feel we do need a world class CDM in there to compliment the talents of Mac Allister and his midfield partner (whether that be Grav, Szob or Elliot) .

Anyway, good result and an enjoyable watch. Hopefully we can win our remaining fixtures and finish on a strong points tally of 84 and give Klopp a great send off!

If anybody would like to view one of the worst ref decisions of all time check out the red card given to Georges Mikautazde for Metz in their defeat by Rennes.

Some minor fronting up, they gently brush chests, oppo strike takes a tumble and the ref sends him off. VAR sends ref to have a look but Monsieur Ruddy Buquet decides to make it all about himself and sticks with his decision!

It's not a bad decision, it's a Ruddy awful one (I'll get my coat).

You can't help look at something like that and think what has happened to football.

Liverpool have champions league football next season, that’s a step forward on the last one. Hopefully will help attract some players as well.

I've just seen a post on twitter claiming Andy Cole was only caught offside 24 times during his whole career?

That's an insane record if true and what a player, would of loved us to get him before the mancs.
