Get well soon Jose Enrique - brain tumours are absolutely awful and it's great to see him treated so quickly, here's hoping for a full recovery.

Not strictly LFC related (but will soon be) - the Manolas injury that those of us watching their derby yesterday will have noticed has turned out to be cramp. As it stands, he will be fine to play us.
A small and very unsportsmanlike part of me is swearing very loudly.

Prediction for the final - if we win, it'll be Mane who does the damage. They have the knowledge to not underestimate Firmino and Salah is obviously the major threat that they will focus on. Mane gets forgotten until it's too late for them.

So interesting fact about our defense - since the big loss to Spurs, it's been the best defense in the PL. Not Chelsea, not City, not United - us. It's been so good in fact that we finished the season with the 4th best defense and the third highest number of clean sheets. The turnaround since that day has been outstanding and if we can maintain that solidity, we can really hit the league as a priority next season and reasonably expect some joy.

Before people get too carried away with the importance of Coutinho playing deeper, I think it's important for us to all remember that on his good days, Coutinho is sublime and makes things happen across the field. What we saw today was as much the effect of Coutinho playing well as him playing deep.

The issue has been raised before but I'd like to see what people's thoughts are now.
Moreno is very quick and pretty strong. He seems to lack the intelligence/ concentration required to be a defender, but what do people think of him being a LW as well -potentially a very useful one when it comes to defending a league as he is comfortable making the tackles and chasing back. Rather than just write off a fairly expensive asset, do people think it could be worth a try when we need an injection of pace? We'd just need to work on him not shooting every time he's within 50 yards of goal!

Okay Kevman, suppose we all believe you at face value and you're right. Great, you're a 'in the know' character and have the respect of all and you're asking for a column for it. Fine
But what do you do if you're, as suspected, talking rubbish? Do you have some sort of forfeit? Do you never post again, have to send in a picture of you being shot with paintballs... got to be a flipside to your demands if you're wrong right?
