In regards to all the calls and comments about the poor refereeing in recent times, I just want to say that I really believe it balances out, in the long term. One has to be fair, despite our natural biases (red tinted glasses and all) . Clearly, we've been on the receiving end of some really poor calls, but I would say we've been on the benefitting side too. Many have forgotten the favorable calls we got in our UCL game with ManC (Salah offside goal, Sane misallowed goal off Milner) . Many screamed murder at Hegazi punching Ings. But all are silent here about Salah taking a swing and missing Martins Indi. Can you imagine the meltdown if Salah got the same 3 game ban that most wanted Hegazi to get (and I include myself in this group) at this important juncture of the season?

Fully agree that the level of officiating needs addressing and improvement. I guess most fans of most teams would agree. But let's stay away from anti-LFC conspiracies that many of the posts are implying. I don't believe there's any such case at all.

So what do you think Gentlemen? Do we adopt a new tactic and strategy against Man City tomorrow night or do a repeat of the tactics/ strategy used last time? I say we do exactly the same thing. Hang back a bit and give them some space, but press and recover the ball in packs, close off the passing channels and hit them fast and furious on the counter. They're clearly low on morale after our game and ManU, and if we score a goal in the first 30 minutes, the rest of the game should be smooth sailing. I don't see them scoring 5 goals on us again (our back 4 was Arnold, Matip, Klavan, Moreno and only 10 players when that happened) . I just hope Arnold does an encore on Sane, Roberston is playing (Klavan will not do well against Sterling) and Wijnaldum does an excellent job in the holding midfielder role (I'm assuming that's where he will play) .

Charlie Adam is supposed to have said that Mohammed Salah would not get into either the Real Madrid or Barcelona teams.

Really? Salah has scored the same number of goals as Cristiano Ronaldo and 2 more than Messi. Where do they find these guys for commentary? The least they could do is make sure the person is qualified enough to make such a judgement - which is clearly not the case here.

I suggest Mr. Adam relook his nutritional needs. He's clearly not eating or drinking the right stuff to enable optimal functioning of brain cells.

Methodical. Clinical. Deadly. And Mo Salah does indeed have a right foot, despite assurances to the contrary.

I'm all for motivating players and propping up their confidence after long injuries. But Klopp calling Lallana "one of England's top 3-4 players" is a little bit over the top, I think. And doesn't speak too highly of the England team standards, either.

With 15 goals each, 60 is definitely possible. And if they're lucky then 70 is attainable too. We scored 110 as a team in 2013/ 2014, remember?
