As the late great Meatloaf once said, two out of three ain't bad. But I still think Trent may do a U turn. Its unlikely but he may. His stance of saying nothing either way makes it more likely he will leave than stay, as saying you are going gives him a lot of flak, not saying a thing at least makes people think twice about slating the lad incase he's thinking of staying and they abuse him to the point he just leaves. Until its announced either way we don't know but, to coin a phrase, it looks like he's more out than in. If he stays its an amazing turn around, if he goes, the 2 of the 3 I thought the most important we sign have signed. I think game time will tell a story. If him and Bradley are both fit start and Bradley gets the nod then we have an answer I would say .

It's pretty funny how Hughes has been public enemy number 1 all season and now suddenly everyone can't praise him enough.

Also Julian ward is technical director and deals with contract renewals.

Hughes deals with incoming and outgoing transfers.

We have three world-class players on our books, they would all be in a 22 man squad to represent Earth against Mars and their contracts expire at midnight on 30 June 2027.

But we will have a lot of fun between now and then!

20th of Istanbul is approaching. I was very fortunate to see it live. I was in a good place. Liverpool fans were on my right and Milan left. For those who were there. We returned very late back to our place. Using buses. We were in the Asian part of Turkey for the match. And went back to Europe by buses. By very fortunate circumstances I was booked in front of their staying hotel. can't remember the name. I just couldn't sleep. we were sunburnt as well. We were - at least I was - wearing this Carslberg rubbish of headband with feathers like a cockatoo. But then once back, in my room, and from my window, when I saw at 4am in the morning Alessandro Maldini consoling Alessandro Nesta, who was really hurting by it all, walking down the street like two teenage lovers, losing to Djimi Traore and Igor Biscan, you just felt this world is not really that bad. They returned very quickly back. I really don't know who has seen them live and remember these two but they were sublime as sportsmen. At the time we were facing them easily the best defensive duo in the world. Like, I mean it. People that know know this. And I have seen them live, and especially that night.
Just sharing things with who have been there.
And a bit later seeing Seedorf sitting there at the hotel steps, all by his own, lost in thoughts, inconsolable, was something else.
Really, for me Ac Milan of 2005 is an astonishing team. Comparable to Barcelona 2009 - 2011. That we beat them is a really a miracle in sporting terms.
They are on 19 titles on Italy. A bit like Mau U in England. If, and, when we win it, we will be on 20. And we will knock on off them perch too. One more CL and we will really do it.

If Diaz goes then Eze or Kudus to replace him. Am I being greedy ?
Dunno because TAA, Quansah, Elliott, Endo, Nunez, Tsimikas could all be off so we'll need players in.

Just an opinion, I sometimes get the feeling that slot can't seem to get the best out of his players, doesn't seem intrested in getting the players to their best . The players that are on the bench, he is okay with them being just on the bench, doesn't want them to improve or impact the game, he just uses and exhausts the playing 11 that he thinks can only win us games!
Any one else feels the same or is it just me.
