It looks like our club legend Robbie Fowler will get his first high profile English job after being named the favourite to become the new Bormingham manager.

Missed the game last night. Saw some highlights.

Was Henderson as good as he looked on highlights? And was keita? he looked good also.

Sometimes I wonder if we'd be better cashing in on salah. But I must be mad. He's a goal machine. Absolutely class. Hope he stays for years to come.

Oh, I saw young Williams at lb. How did he do?

Another win, what an amazing team.

Allow me to be controversial and I'm sure I'll get stick for this.
I love Gomez, but that Brighton goal is why Klopp is in for a first team, right sided centre half. Watch it back.
I also loved Gary Gillespie, but he also had a best-in-class player next to him.

Hoping for a solid performance from neco Williams I'm assuming at left back. If he can get a good few games in that position he can be the perfect understudy for both flanks. Saving us a nice few mill for this replacement left back.

A question to other posters. do you think that Liverpool need to strengthen? With all the financial issues we have due to the C.V. (loss of revenue but still having to pay out salaries, payments etc), it’s seems that we don’t have the money.

However with other teams like Chelsea and City looking to strengthen, are we shooting ourselves in the foot if we don’t/ are unable to strengthen? Remember that if we lose any key players to injury (we have been very lucky in the last couple of years with our front tree being pretty fit all the time), we don’t have the depth in the squad like Chelsea or city. Even Man Utd are now starting to look good and will continue to strengthen. Just want to get peoples’ thoughts really.

I do have to say, that as someone in the US that didn't get to watch so much of this sport growing up, I'm thrilled that the top European leagues are so accessible. I wish I had them to learn from as a kid.

I'm really enjoying the restart. Having matches pretty much every day has been nice and I get to listen to them while at work. I wish the leagues staggered their game days more so there is something on every day going forward.

Im sure this has been said before by someone or perhaps even a lot of people but i think if klopp had not went into football management he would have found his way into eventually teaching in some capacity.

There are some people who thrive when they are in a position of passing on knowledge or shaping what they see as potential for greatness. The true people of that calling don't do it for the secondary fame. Klopp although not considered a great footballer by any means.

Did anyone else put the match on last night and wondered when we’d re-signed Djibril Cisse?!

Just want to know people's feelings on how good Curtis Jones is going to be? He looks like the sort of player we need and he as an eye for goal, I see him in the mould of the Ox just hope he is more consistent. He doesn't try to many tricks either, he is quite direct.
