Given the boredom of the winter break, here is a question to ponder.

Which would you prefer

A) Neco Williams takes the RB position and becomes one of best RB in the country whilst Trent moves to midfield and becomes a great but not the best midfielder in the world.

B) Trent becomes the undisputed best RB in the world but Neco becomes a lovable squad player but never quite makes it to the top.

So. if it’s true Messi could go on a free (albeit his wages would be the polar opposite! ) if we were in dream land, who are we taking? Messi or Mbappe?!

A few of my friends have been discussing where the league can be won. Whilst it’s amazing to be having this discussion after not winning the league for so long, my thoughts are I’d prefer to win it at home just so that more people can be there to witness it. How about other people’s preference?

All this talk about Grealish. but isn't he just a poor mans Coutinho? Plays on the left, cuts in and shoots. Decent workrate but nothing special.

What's james Milner's future looking like I know there is no crystal ball but has he shown any interest in management I know he has a boring reputation but you can't argue with his achievements and do liverpool have options available for players to progress within the club after the playing career is over.

Incredibly happy with the performance from the 'kids' tonight.

Curtis Jones was great, and certainly played like a proper Liverpool attacker with his pressing. As much as people will say we rode our luck (e. g. LiVARpool), the own goal was forced by Neco Williams channelling TAA to play that pass because it honestly looked likely to end in a goal regardless. Kelleher seems to have gained some valuable experience, he dealt with aerial balls very well I thought.

There was a lot of talk before the game about Liverpool disrespecting the cup, and you can see where they're coming from, but some of the same people also say there are a lack of opportunities for Academy players. Regardless, it was apparent for anyone watching the match which team was better.

So the Liverpool youngsters to got play a full competitive game for the 1st team at Anfield and took us through to the 5th round and NC got to manage a 1st team 11 not once but twice this season.
The magic of the cup.

I think its a 50/ 50 game tonight very hard to call. It is not going to be the team that played Villa as Klopp took the best 3 youngsters to the CWC. I would be a lot more confident if we had more of our best youth team as Wilson, Kane, Brewster, and the gk are all on loan (sorry forgot his name) .

We have at least 5-6 players playing tonight who many feel are a level or 2 above league 1 so this is the perfect game for them to prove it. If they want to break into the first team on a regular basis they need to bring it in games like this.

Long time reader, first time poster.

Our fans stick together and support the club fantastically, bar a small minority (like any club) . However we seem to be supporting a poor decision currently.

We have the chance to win the league before the Semi and Final of FA Cup, and quarter/ semi/ final of champions league if my maths is correct.

We played Shrewsbury with 3rd and 4th cb, one cost more than the whole of their team, one earns more than most if not all their team. we had fabinho, origi, minamino.

1. that team should of won.
2. they should play again as they failed to win
3. even with the break Klopp is 1st team manager he should manage and is showing huge disrespect.
4. The break for the players would be 3 days shorter if they played today.

Poor decision and one I do not respect.
